E-Government

E-GOV Public Participation Services, Jackson County, Missouri: Prepared and mailed 140,000 postcards explaining the program and asking recipients to fill-out a questionnaire. Issued press releases to print and broadcast media. Prepared online questionnaire to be completed by citizens to help in the development of the program. Tabulated responses and provided a report. Arranged and facilitated community meetings which included PowerPoint presentations and exhibits. Acquired public comments and recruited participants. Prepared a brochure explaining the GIS electronic government program. Recruited participants for and facilitated an inter-governmental cooperation meeting regarding e-government and GIS services.
