Regional Performance Measures Pilot Project, Mid-America Regional Council (MARC): Local project manager for regional project to develop performance measures for Public Works agencies. Worked with representatives from Public Works agencies in the Kansas City region to develop a set of performance measurements for two service areas: street sweeping and asphalt repair. Facilitated meetings, gathered data, performed data cleansing, provided technical assistance to participants, and wrote reports.

Managing for Results, City of Kansas City, Missouri: Prepared community impact statement and reengineering worksheet. Facilitated meetings between department staff, business staff, and City Management task force. Worked with divisions to align their performance with FOCUS (Kansas City’s Comprehensive and Strategic Plan for the next 25 years) objectives and city government management framework. Worked with department directors to cut city services, resulting in $3 million savings for the operating budget.
